Where the 77W app comes from
Get the app from 77W's download page on 77wluck.com, the platform where 77W accounts are opened and used. The page shows two options, Android and Apple iOS.
Open the page on the phone you plan to use and download from there. Skip the step of saving the file on a computer and moving it across, and do not accept the file from a friend. Each time the file passes to another person or device, someone could swap it for a changed copy.
Installing the Android APK
An APK, short for Android Package, is the kind of file Android uses to put an app on a phone. Android treats an APK downloaded from a website as an app from an unknown source, and it blocks the install until you turn on the Install unknown apps permission for the app that opened the file. Newer Android versions grant this to one app at a time, usually the browser or the file manager.
- On your Android phone, open 77W's download page and tap the Android option.
- Open the downloaded APK from your notifications or your Downloads folder.
- If Android says the browser may not install unknown apps, open the settings shortcut it offers, allow that one browser, then go back.
- Tap Install, open the app and sign in with your 77W login. 77W allows one account per player, so use the account you already have.
Once the app is on your phone, you can switch the permission off again for that browser in your phone's settings. The app stays installed.
Leave Google Play Protect switched on while you do this. It checks apps from outside Google Play as well, and it can warn about a file or block it. If it warns about the file you downloaded, stop there and check with 77W's customer service before you carry on.
The iOS option
77W's download page also offers an Apple iOS option for iPhone users. APK files are for Android only and will not install on an iPhone, so on an iPhone use the iOS option on the same page and nothing else.
Follow the steps the page shows on your iPhone. If a step asks for something you did not expect, or the option does not work on your device, ask support before looking for the app anywhere else.
Unofficial copies and fake login pages
Copies of casino apps are passed around in chat groups and on download sites. They can carry the same name and icon as the app they copy. Anyone who holds an APK can change what is inside it and share it again, and the changed file can look the same once installed. The app is for players aged 18 and over. Decide on a limit for the time you spend playing before the first session, not during it.
